Do you (or someone you know) have a room that looks like a tornado has made a recent visit?  Maybe our Trash Ball Hoop project is the answer!  We have gamified putting rubbish into the rubbish bin.  Every successful shot through the hoop results in a triumphant LED flash along with a celebratory tune from the inbuilt speaker.  The display then shows your score for the day.  There are also LEDs on the back of the unit that flash different colours as well (illuminating the wall behind).  

We have built a nifty clamp into the project so that it can be firmly attached to a shelf or table.  Also there is a button to reset the score at any time (should you want to have a game of hoops with your friends).  The maximum score is 99 and we may have added a little easter egg into the code should you ever get that high!

On the day you will get to spray paint your back board, solder all the electronics and glue/screw together all the various wooden and acryllic pieces.  The unit is powered by the supplied USB cable and of course you get to take it home with you at the end of the day.

No previous experience is required and you’re welcome to bring a grown up if you want to.
