Fancy a career as a safe cracker?  Do you like puzzles?  This cool project will have your brain working overtime as you figure out the four digit code to unlock the electronic door.

You can try the code as many times as you like.  Everytime you enter a code the LEDs on the door tell you whether any of the numbers you have entered are part of the code and whether any of them are in the correct place.  Through deductive reasoning you have to work out all the numbers that make up the code then arrange them in the correct order.  Once you have successfully opened the safe the code then changes next time you lock it.

On the day you will get to solder up the custom printed circuit board we have built for this project, spray paint the frame as well as glue together the box and decoration.  The unit is powered by a small battery pack and of course you get to take it home with you at the end of the day.  Check out the video below to learn more about his project.

No previous experience is required and you’re welcome to bring a grown up if you want to.
