Holiday Programme - Pocket Computer

Build your own rechargeable pocket-sized computer, powered by a powerful ESP32-S3 processor and featuring a bright 2.4" colour screen. Use the joystick and buttons to explore games, useful tools and creative coding possibilities all built into one small device.
Play games such as Snake and Minesweeper, experiment with tools including a calculator, timer, torch, music sequencer, metronome and Dungeons & Dragons dice roller, and even write your own programs using our built-in Pocket BASIC coding system.
On the day you’ll get to solder the components, upload the software and spray paint the frame in your own colours to make your Pocket Computer completely your own.
No batteries required - it comes with a rechargeable recycled 18650 cell that you can charge up using any USB charger.
We’re still developing new games, tools and coding features for the Pocket Computer, so there may be even more to discover by the time you build yours.
No previous experience is required and you’re welcome to bring a grown up if you want to.
Note: this is a one day workshop so students should only book for one session.
