Kaleidoscope Light
Introducing the awesome “Kaleidoscope Light”. Coloured LEDs can create some cool effects but there’s nothing like a turning mechanism to create interesting, constantly changing patterns. This project is powered by USB and has two dials, one to change the speed of the motor inside and the other to dim the light shining from within.
On the day everyone will get to solder the components onto the custom circuit board that controls the motor speed and light level, stick and connect the light strips inside, prepare the rotating mechanism and assemble the laser cut spinning gobos. And, of course, you get to take your creation home!
No previous experience is required and you’re welcome to bring a grown up if you want to.
Please note it is a one day workshop so students should only book for one session.
